Kamar Associates, founded in Florida, is led by Ilham Kamar. The company excels at facilitating cross-border business operations between the United States and Mexico.

Mrs. Kamar's career includes founding a consulting firm in Mexico City, where she successfully managed various projects, including procuring pharmaceutical supplies, advising NASDAQ-listed companies on entering the Mexican market, and coordinating legal projects with the Mexican Senate and American companies. She also worked with COFEPRIS on regulatory matters for the food and pharmaceutical industries, medical devices, and facility certification.

In addition, Mrs. Kamar held significant positions in the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseeing budget management for embassies, consulates, and missions worldwide. She also contributed to the Bureau of Information Technology and Innovation and worked as an international lawyer in South Korea, ensuring compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Mrs. Kamar's experience extends to her role as a research fellow at Bloomberg Associates in New York City, where she advised Mexico City's government on transparency and anti-corruption policies. She has also been involved with volunteer organizations like the Safe Passage Project and Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services.

Her commitment to continuous learning is demonstrated by auditing an FDA Law Course at Yale School of Public Health and attending a Summer Institute in Technology and International Law in South Korea. She is eligible to practice law in Mexico, holds an LL.M. in US and Comparative Law from Fordham University School of Law in NYC, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
